Abstract

This presentation utilises the previous and ongoing work of Lee Ivett and Ecaterina Stefanescu to advocate for multi-scaler prototyping as a mode of engagement with people and place. The use of the 1:1 architectural prototype and the architectural model are situated as tools for empowering local people to consider the existing conditions of place whilst also advocating for alternative futures.
